At the end of the 20th century, police and security found out why football fans need balaclavas. Smuggling a balaclava into a stadium was really problematic.
We didn’t wait too long for the response of football fanatics. Italian Tifosi came up with an interesting idea. It was brilliant in its simplicity. Using a longer zipper in the hoodie, which reached eyes, made it possible to cover the face. At the same time, new sweatshirt didn’t arouse the suspicions of the cops, so fans could still enter stadiums without any problems.
In 2006 PGWEAR adopted this idea and improved the shape of the hood so it fits perfectly.
Ninja hoodies have become popular on stands all over the world. Specially for our 15th anniversary we have created a limited re-edition of this legendary product. The hoodie has occasional gold embroidery and a 15xPG jacquard patch.
